With changing trends, a jet paced life and women becoming more beauty & style conscious, we decided to share a fistful of essential and easy-to-wear makeup items (along with their application) that you may opt to carry with you at all occasions. We have spilled the beans to make your two most important looks Office & Party appear even better; you sure don’t want to miss this.
Applying your makeup should be as comfortable as putting on your pair of denim and slip-ons. You can easily avoid melting makeup, sliding eyeliner, and super sticky lipsticks if you follow these quick styling tips.
Day-time/Office- EYES: Keep it simple and sober, you can apply roll-on waterproof kohl that defines and shades the eyes with rich color for a matte finish. For big beautiful eyes with a thick lower-eyelid, fill it up with a thick line of kohl so as to enhance their shape, for small eyes and thin lower eye-lids apply it thin and sleek to avoid spreading it under eyes giving it a dark-circle affected look. Style tip: Remember to invest only in smudge proof kohl to avoid marks or patches due to sweat/humidity.
- LIPS: Pep-up your lips with matte finish light pastel colors to brighten up your mornings just the way they should be. If you don’t want to indulge in colors you can even try neutral shades for they complement any attire/skin. Style tip: The most pleasing nude lipsticks are those that look exactly like your bare lips; or 1-2 shades lighter {depending on how pigmented your lips are}. Remember to not to pick anything lighter than your natural lips.

Special Dinner/Party- EYES: Bronze makes your eyes look brighter, everyone looks better with a little warmth added to their skin, dash your upper eyelid with a hint of bronze eye shadow and apply it evenly for a smooth & finished look. Carefully apply a water proof Eye-Liner on the edge of your upper eye-lid and finally complete the look with adding kohl on lower eye-lid. (Style tip: Remember to follow the same order: Eye-shadow, Eye-Liner, {Mascara if needed} and Kohl at last).
- LIPS: Why not Glitter up a bit? Livelier colors brighten the face and bring a youthful glow to skin. When readying up for a party don’t forget to add a stroke of gloss to the lip color you decide to wear. You can try your hands on various choices from Neutral to colored lip glosses; they not only reflect light to create illusion of plumper, fuller lips but would also keep your lips moist and glowing. (Style tip: Always go by the rule to wear bright shades at day time and dark & warm colors at night, you can plan your make up accordingly)
